Taxes Are Too Damn High! Taxpayer Deserve Relief Now

As a team our first priority is to alleviate the financial burden placed on taxpayers in Edison. If elected, we will hold the Township administration accountable and eliminate irresponsible and wasteful spending.

Our current elected officials raised taxes almost 6% in the middle of a pandemic and recession! The Bhagia, McCann, Peng, and Patel team for Edison will aim for a ZERO PERCENT property tax increase for 2022.

We will also push for Property Tax Fairness, because we believe that warehouses and special interests should not get away with paying less than you do.

Improve Township Services

Our team will prioritize fixing our water and sewer system while putting a STOP to the unending rate hikes. We will also focus on paving our roads and cleaning up our parks, while aggressively taking on Optimum for reliable, faster internet and better rates.

Stop The Overcrowding Our Schools & Streets

We will create a long overdue working partnership with the school board to solve school overcrowding. We will also take aim at the increased traffic congestion by restricting trucks in residential neighborhoods and creating better zoning & planning policies that favor residents, not special interests

Open & Transparent Government

As Mayor and new Council People we will create open office hours with the Mayor and frequent neighborhood town halls. We will ensure there is stronger communication from the Mayor's office to keep residents informed. Once elected, we will implement an independent third party audit to bring transparency back to town hall.
